Near Cornwell Manor

A beautiful organic farm shop, café, and spa. Perfect for a lazy morning browsing local produce, ceramics, and flowers. Their cream teas are legendary.

A charming country pub with seriously good food. Great for a relaxed lunch or dinner. Book ahead — it's popular.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of Winston Churchill. The palace is magnificent, the gardens are vast, and the estate walks are beautiful. A full day out if you want it to be.

A classic Cotswold market town with honey-coloured stone buildings, independent shops, antique stores, and good pubs. Grab a coffee and wander the high street.

A brilliant day out if you have kids (or just love animals). Lions, giraffes, penguins, and a gorgeous manor house setting.

Elsewhere in the Cotswolds

The 'Venice of the Cotswolds' — low stone bridges over the River Windrush, tea rooms, and postcard-perfect cottages. Touristy but undeniably charming.

Home to Arlington Row, the most photographed street in England. A tiny village that looks impossibly pretty in every season.

The highest town in the Cotswolds, packed with antique shops, art galleries, and cosy pubs. The Old Stocks Inn does a great Sunday roast.

A steep medieval high street lined with independent shops, old pubs, and beautiful stone houses. The view from the top looking down is worth the walk.

A quiet village with the romantic ruins of Minster Lovell Hall right on the River Windrush. Peaceful, pretty, and rarely crowded.

Over 150 lakes for paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming, or just lounging by the water. Great for an active day or a picnic by the lakeside.

In London

Colourful houses, antique stalls, and some of London's best cafés. Wander Lancaster Road for the famous pastel terraces, then grab brunch at Granger & Co or Farm Girl.

London's best food market — stalls selling everything from fresh pasta and oysters to artisan cheese and sourdough. Go hungry.

Stroll from Tower Bridge past Shakespeare's Globe, Tate Modern, and the National Theatre to Westminster. One of the best free walks in the city, with river views the whole way.

Narrow streets packed with independent restaurants, bars, and shops. Duck into Kingly Court for rooftop dining, or just wander and see what you find.

Rent a Boris bike, walk the Serpentine, or just lie on the grass with a coffee. The Diana Memorial Playground is magical if you have little ones. Kensington Palace is here too.

Sundays only — a riot of colour, scent, and charm. Even if you don't buy flowers, the street is lined with brilliant independent shops and cafés.
