FAQs
Friday welcome drinks are smart-casual. Saturday's wedding is formal (think cocktail attire and summer dresses — the ceremony is outdoors, so block heels or flats work better than stilettos on lawn). Sunday's BBQ and pool party is casual. The pool is heated, so bring swimwear if you fancy a dip.
Your invitation will specify if you have a plus-one. If you're unsure, please reach out and we'll confirm. We have limited space at the Manor, so we appreciate your understanding.
We love your littles, but the wedding itself on Saturday is an adults-only affair so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. If you need help with childcare recommendations in the area, let us know and we'll share some trusted local options.
Yes, there's ample parking on-site and it's free. We'll have signs directing you from the entrance to the parking area.
The nearest train station is Kingham. From there it's about 10 minutes by taxi — there is no taxi rank at the station, so please pre-book. We've listed trusted local taxi and minibus companies on the main page under Travel. If you're flying in, Heathrow is the closest airport at about 1 hour 20 minutes away.
We recommend staying within 10 minutes of Cornwell Manor (postcode OX7 6TT) so you can easily join the weekend festivities. July is peak season in the Cotswolds, so book early. We've listed recommended hotels, inns, and cottages on the main page under Where to Stay, plus lots of Airbnb options nearby.
Absolutely. We've worked with our caterers to create a menu that includes excellent vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Please note any dietary requirements on your RSVP and we'll make sure you're well looked after.
We ask that the ceremony itself be unplugged — our professional photographer will capture everything beautifully, and we want you to be fully present with us. During the reception, feel free to snap away and tag us if you post.
Your presence is the best gift we could ask for. If you'd like to give something, we're collecting contributions towards our honeymoon fund — there will be a wishing well at the reception.
Cornwell Manor has beautiful indoor spaces as backup for the ceremony and reception, so the day will go ahead whatever the weather. The British countryside in summer is famously unpredictable, so pack a light jacket just in case.
We put together a full list of our favourite spots — from right near the manor to further afield in the Cotswolds and even London. See our Things To Do page for all the details.
